Accessibility statement
The technical requirements for accessibility are derived from:
The BITV 2.0 and the German Disability Equality Act (BGG)
AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
This accessibility statement applies to the website of AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG (as of 20 August 2025).
Status of compliance with requirements
The website of AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG is partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and the BGG.
The accessible web design of the AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG website is implemented through the following points:
1.) Font and view scaling
Visitors can quickly and easily change the display size on all pages using the browser tools. Use the key combination ‘Ctrl’ and ‘+’ to enlarge or ‘Ctrl’ and ‘-’ to reduce the size of the page. Use “Ctrl” and ‘0’ to reset the view to the standard size. In general, we have tried to use the largest possible font style for important text passages.
2.) Text within images or videos with sound output, audio files.
We avoid images with embedded text as much as possible, or provide an alternative such as a machine-readable PDF. Videos and audio files are not used at all.
3.) Contrast / readability
To facilitate readability, the AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG website uses the highest possible contrast. Links within the text are underlined in addition to being coloured red for better recognition. Some browsers also offer a text-to-speech function.
4.) Screen resolution
The AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG website is optimised for all resolutions (from a minimum screen format of 320 pixels). The exception to this are some tables.
5.) Language and language structure
The content and texts are formulated as clearly and precisely as possible so that they are easy to understand. Wherever possible, simple language is used and complicated technical terms are avoided.
The following content on the AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG website is not accessible:
1.) The links in the navigation elements in the page header and footer are not underlined. As these are purely navigation areas that comply with the usual standards, underlining has been omitted here for visual reasons.
2.) Language and language structure: Unfortunately, it is not possible to completely avoid technical terms and certain formulations throughout the website. Sometimes there are binding requirements, e.g. legal requirements, which make the use of such passages and terms necessary. However, we always try to formulate such areas in such a way that they are understandable.
3.) Not all PDF files on the website are completely accessible. We are working to continuously improve this in the future.
4.) Some tables on the website are not optimised for all resolutions. These are not optimally displayable, especially on smartphones (portrait format and/or narrow screen width). However, as this content is only optimally meaningful in table form, we assume that most users will view it on a larger, more suitable device in order to capture this specific information, e.g. a smartphone in landscape format or a tablet.
5.) In order to make the website as clearly recognisable as possible, the colours red and grey were used. An attempt was made to combine the colour values with text modules in such a way as to achieve the best possible contrast ratio. In a few places, however, this combination is not quite as high-contrast as it could theoretically be (e.g. with a black-and-white contrast). However, there is always an alternative navigation for these elements, so that the desired information should always be findable via one or more alternative routes.
